Our History

Hart Rural Agencies began when Charlie Hart opened his first office in Barraba in 1995. Comprising a modest team of just four staff, Hart Rural Agencies have undergone remarkable growth, evolving from a stock and station agency into a comprehensive provider of a diverse range of agricultural services.


Hart Rural Agencies now includes two offices and merchandise stores in Barraba and Manilla, rural real estate agencies in Barraba, Manilla, and Bingara, and M&M Stockyards. As the largest privately owned employer in the region, Hart Rural Agencies have a team of over 30 skilled professionals committed to contributing their expertise, and partnering with you to make your rural business the most productive and profitable it can be.


M&M Stockyards

We custom manufacture quality stock yards for sheep and cattle locally and we deliver and install these on site. Our stock yards are fully customised to your needs and 100% Australian Made with no imported prefabricated components.
